The Fairfield Prep basketball fell to Notre Dame West Haven 53-45 in the SCC Championship at the Floyd Little Center in New Haven on Wednesday night. Tommy Scholl and Michael Iannazzo paced the Jesuits with 16 and 15 points respectivly while Griffin Harding chipped in with 8 points 7 rebounds and 4 assists. En route the championship game the Jesuits defeated Wilbur Cross in the quarterfinals 76-53 and Daniel Hand 58-43 in the semifinals. Against Wilbur Cross Max Manjos and Scholl scored 24 and 23 points each and Alex Leporati added 9 points and 8 rebounds. In the semifinal game led the Jesuits again with 19 points while Jack Petrafesa added 14 points and 9 rebounds.
