Athletic Trainer and Sports Medicine

Gina Mentone, MS, ATC/LAT has been providing Athletic Training services at Fairfield Prep since 2008. She has a Master's degree in School Health Education from Southern Connecticut State University and Bachelor of Science degrees in Athletic Training and Exercise Science from Sacred Heart University. Gina is a board certified and state licensed Athletic Trainer. She maintains her certification through a number of continuing education courses on a variety of topics including concussion, injury prevention, nutrition, musculoskeletal injury evaluation and management, as well as emergency care. Gina is also certified to teach CPR and First Aid through the American Red Cross. Gina is also a certified Mental Health First Aider from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
