The Lavery Strength and Fitness Center


The Lavery Strength and Fitness Center, located on the ground floor of Arupe Hall, has been renovated twice in the past three years in order to provide our student-athletes with a first-class training facility. Boasting 70 “cubby” style lockers, a hydration station, Gatorade fridge, a flat screen monitor, 25-yard turf strip, fourteen work out rack stations, two full dumbbell racks and two full kettle-bell racks; the Lavery Strength and Fitness Center can accommodate up to 60 athletes per training session and offers an array of different exercise options. With every athletic team at the school utilizing the space, athletes and coaches take advantage of the room for strength building, agility, stretching and recovery. The room is staffed and available to student athletes from 6:30am-8:00am and 3:00pm-6:00pm, Monday through Friday and is available with a coach or a trainer on the weekends. Student-athletes utilizing the Lavery Strength and Fitness Center have access to “Teambuildr,” an online software used to aid with instruction, programming and record keeping for training both at Fairfield Prep and at home.
