Prep earns playoff berth with victory in regular season finale

The Fairfield Prep soccer team clinched a spot in the SCC playoffs with a 4-2 victory over Guilford High School, Monday night in Guilford. Jude Gussen led the Jesuits with 2 goals while Joao Coutinho added a goal and an assist. Matt McCleod scored one goal and Anderson Jara added an assist. The Jesuits back line of Callum Wilson, Nate Moore, Jack Marcus and Justin Tayman were able to hold off Guilford as they attempted a comeback. The Jesuits will now face Daniel Hand in the SCC semifinals at the Surf Club on Saturday.
