Fairfield Prep

The Fairfield Prep tennis team defeated Daniel Hand 5-2 on Tuesday morning at Amity High School to win the 5th SCC Tournament Championship in school history. Luke Levanat, Harrison Lent and Devin Kelly all won their singles matches while Thomas Nardone/Jason Gong and Andrew Beckerlegge/Axel Tabaschek won their doubles matches to clinch the victory. For his efforts at #1 singles Levanat was named tournament MVP and Head Coach Adam Mirsky was named SCC Boys Tennis Coach of the year for the spring SCC tennis season. After winning the SCC Championship the Jesuits reached the CIAC Class LL Tournament semifinals before ultimately losing their first match of the season. Overall the Jesuits finished 21-1 on the year and return plenty of talented players as they will look to reload next spring!
