About Fairfield Prep Golf
Fairfield Prep Golf competes in both the CIAC and the Southern Connecticut Conference. The program has a rich history that includes 9 CIAC Division I titles and most recently has won the last four straight from 2021 - 2024. The team competes the fall season that is offered by the CIAC so currently does not play against any other SCC opponents. The schedule includes dual matches against all CIAC teams and the players will compete in local and regional tournaments throughout Connecticut.
The team is fortunate to host home matches at all three Fairfield golf clubs- Paterson Club, Brooklawn and Country Club of Fairfield and also has access to all three facilities for practices.
Generally the season starts in mid August with tryouts both on the driving range and on the golf course. The CIAC State Championship is typically held the last week of October with the top performers advancing to the New England Championships the following week.
