Greg Langston enters his first season as an Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach for The Jesuits. Prior to Fairfield Prep Langston was the Junior Varsity and Varsity Assistant at Darien High School where he coached the FCIAC player of the year and helped the team win the FCIAC East Division. He also coaches AAU Basketball with High Rise Elite.
Prior to beginning his coaching career, Langston spent time playing professionally in Spain. He played his collegiate basketball at Southern CT State University where he scored 1,890 points, third most in program history. As a senior he helped lead the team to a 30-3 recording winning the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament, the East Regional Championship, and advancing to the Elite 8 of the Division 2 National Tournament. He was named to multiple All-America Teams and was the 2013-14 Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year. He was a two-year captain for the Owls. Langston is also a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Trumbull, CT.
