Mark Langston

    Coach Mark S. Langston is currently serving in his 9th year as Head Coach of Track and Field. He holds Strength and Conditioning coach certification from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.    Coach Langston also holds certifications from the International Sports Science Association as a Fitness trainer, National Sports Performance Association with certifications in Program design specialist, Speed and Agility coach, Sports nutrition coach, certified weight lifting performance coach; and The USA Weight lifting association (performance coach).

    Prior to Fairfield Prep, Coach Langston worked with Quinnipiac University's athletes.  He assisted with strength and conditioning for Men’s Basketball, Baseball and Women’s Softball.

    Coach Langston also founded the Bridgeport Youth Track club; the program achieved success at the local/regional levels and advanced athletes to both AAU and USATF National Junior Olympics.
    
    Coach Langston has spent the past 20 years training and volunteering with a variety of Professional college, high school and youth athletes.
