Marc Jacobi enters his 4th year the Fairfield Prep Sailing Coach. Coach Jacobi is the 2017 RS Aero 9 World Champion, placed 4th at the 2015 Laser Master World Championship, and is one of only two people in the United States to have qualified for and competed in the 1996, 2000, 2004, and 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials (Laser). He has coached high school sailing since 2001 at Greenwich, Wilton, Staples and GFA high schools before becoming head coach of the Fairfield Prep team in 2015.
Marc remains active as a member of Cedar Point Yacht Club in Westport, CT, and coaches individuals and groups on the finer points of the sport.
