Coach Rodriguez was a star player in the SCC, playing for Sheehan High School, earning All Conference, All State and All New England Honors. Coach Rodriguez went onto to star for the University of New Haven Men’s Soccer team where he started every game of his career and served as team captain for 3 years while also being named to the All-NE 10 Conference team. After college, Coach Rodriguez spent time playing with both the Puerto Rican National team and the Puerto Rican Olympic National Team as well as a season with the Puerto Rico FC professional team. Coach Rodriguez has coached with the Vale Sports Club, Sporting CT, Amity Soccer Club, Everson Soccer Academy, Brazil CT and Guilford Youth Soccer. Coach Rodriguez has also spent 5 years as an assistant coach at Sheehan High School, learning under his father Lou Rodriguez, who still serves as the Head Coach today.
