The Fairfield Prep first varsity boat took second place out of 23 teams at the New England High School Championships this past Sunday in Worcester, Massachusets. The boat  was comprised of Corey Guilfoyle, Nathaniel Duffy, Brendan Barrett, Jakub Poznanski, John Greenleaf, James McGarry, Lucas Swarowsky, Zalan Kovacs and Jonathan Devine. The Jesuits outlasted Stonington, Glastonbury, St Johns Prep, Farmington and Simsbury High Schools amongst others en route to their second place finish. The Jesuits 2nd and 3rd boats each took sixth place in their regattas. The Jesuits will be off for two week before returning to action at the Head of the Schuylkill in Philadelphia on October 31st.
