Prep hockey picks up back to back league victories

Jesuits have strong offensive output

Three days after defeating Notre Dame Fairfield 9-1, the Jesuits offense was back at it on Wednesday, defeating West Haven 7-2 to improve to 5-4 (2-1 SCC).

Sophomore Lucas Baksay led the way with two goals. Tiernan Curley, Henry Keller, Matt Chamberlain, Colin Woodward (1st varsity goal) and Owen McNicholas (1st varsity goal) also scored for Prep.

Graham Michener(2), Aksel Sather (2), Kevin Shanahan (2), Conner Reid, Woodward, Jack Gifford, Zach McCarthy and James Murphy added assists.

Senior Nick Ambrosio kicked out 15 shots for the win in net. The Jesuits will travel to Hamden on Saturday for a 4pm showdown with the Green Dragons.
