The Fairfield Prep swimming and diving team won the SCC Championship Wednesday night at Southern Connecticut State University pool, totaling 1224 team points. Highlights for the Jesuits included a first place finish by the 200 yard medley relay team of Owen Tharrington, Lucas Swarowsky, Joseph Queenan and Brandon Bonilla. Tharrington also took first place in the 200 yard freestyle and Michael Adams was first place in the 500 yard freestyle. The Jesuits went on to finish 2nd in the CIAC Class L state championship and 4th place in the State Open.
