The Varsity Head Football Coach of Fairfield Prep is Social Studies teacher, Keith Hellstern. Hellstern arrived at Prep having already served on numerous college and high school coaching staffs including: Amherst College, Columbia University, Wesleyan University, The Hotchkiss School, The Dwight School and Poly Prep Country Day School. Hellstern has been the strength and conditioning coach as well as the Defensive Coordinator for Prep Football since 2010. Hellstern, a Glen Ridge, New Jersey native, played his high school football at Glen Ridge High School and went on to play collegiately at Wesleyan University as an offensive and defensive lineman.
