The Fairfield Prep soccer team won 2 games this weekend, defeating Amity 1-0 Friday afternoon at Rafferty Stadium and St. Anthony (LI) 2-1 Saturday night in Long Island. Against Amity, Nate Montani scored a first half goal for the Jesuits and behind strong defense and goal keeping they held on for victory. Against St Anthony, Axel Whamond and Lucas Ojea Quintana both scored goals assisted by Jose Garcia Mina. Ryan Cowles made 8 saves in the net and Nate Montani, James Burris and Andrew Chiota played strong defense. The Jesuits will head to New Haven this afternoon to face Career High School and then will play 4 out of their last 5 games at Rafferty Stadium to finish their regular season.
