The Fairfield Prep soccer team advanced to the second round of the CIAC Class LL tournament with a shoot out victory over Farmington High School, Tuesday night at Rafferty Stadium. The Jesuits struck first lead 2-0 at halftime on 2 goals by Matt McCleod but Farmington came back with two goals late in the second half to send the game to overtime. After two scoreless overtime periods the Jesuits clinched the game in 3 rounds of thrilling penalty kicks. The Jesuits will face Hamden High School in the second round.
