The Fairfield Prep track team took 4th place out of 9 teams at the SCC West Sectional meet Tuesday night at Hillhouse High School. Prep took first place in 3 events as Darren Blount won the 55m dash, Azaan Dawson won the 1600m run and Blount, Dawson, Caleb Bolden and Tymaine Smith took first in the Sprint Medely Relay. In addition to the first place finishes the Jesuits placed in a number of the events as Smith took 4th in the 55m, Bolden took 4th in the 600m, Jude Pastorak took 5th in the 600m and Angel Perez took 9th in the 1600m. Joshua Samaras and Josh Bacon placed 3rd and 4th in the long jump to round out the event. The Jesuits will compete in the SCC Championships next Friday back at Hillhouse High School.
