The Fairfield Prep baseball team won their second SCC Championship in school history, Thursday night at West Haven High School. The Jesuits defeated the Westies 8-3 behind 5 solid innings from Jack Bowery. Grady Golier came in to the close out the game. At the plate the Jesuits were led by James Aselta and Jacob Strazza who both had triples. Strazza's triple was key, driving in 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th innings to give the Jesuits a cushion. The Jesuits will be back in action in the CIAC Class LL State Tournament on Tuesday afternoon when they host Fairfield Ludlowe at 3:30pm at Alumni Diamond.
