The Fairfield Prep Baseball team won their second straight SCC Championship and 3rd in school history with a 9-4 victory over Xavier HS Thursday night at West Haven High School.
Grady Golier paced the Jesuits with 4.2 innings on the mound striking out 4 and only giving up 3 hits.
Andrew Cutler finished off the game with 1.1 innings of work. At the plate the Jesuits were led by
Ethan Passanante who had 3 hits and 2 RBI's. Isiah Joseph added 3 RBI's of his own,
Michael Iannazzo and
James Aselta had 2 RBI's each and
Tim Pearson added 2 hits and an RBI.
Ryan Preisano had two hits for the Jesuits and was named SCC Tournament MVP. The Jesuits will turn their focus to the CIAC Class LL State Tournament where they will face Shelton in the first round.
