After wins in the SCC Tournament quarterfinals and semifinals against Shelton and Cheshire, the Jesuits advanced to the SCC Championship against Xavier HS. After a scoreless first half, the Falcons took a 1-0 lead early in the second half. Prep countered with a John Duffy header to tie it up at 1-1 and the two teams remained tied at the end of regulation. In the first overtime period Xavier found the back the net to win the game. In the quarterfinals against Shelton, the Jesuits received great play from their defense and midfield earning a 2-0 shutout on 2 Brando Savi goals. Against Cheshire, the Jesuits found themselves in a shootout after a 1-1 tie through regulation and overtime. In penalty kicks, the Jesuits received goals from Duffy, Brady Day, Jack Hickey and William Reidy and two huge saves from goalie Nic Vittoria.
