The Fairfield Prep football team celebrated their 21 seniors and their families in a pregame ceremony this past Friday night at Rafferty Stadium. The Jesuits then went out on the field and turned in a dominate performance over Harding High School, defeating the Presidents 48-0. Senior Quarterback
Conor Smith threw touchdown passes to
Jack Reiling,
Timmy Pearson and
Will Gibson.
Daniel Barnick ran in two scores and
Robert Young and
Joseph Cardozo each rushed in a touchdown of their own. Senior kicker
Aidan Graham knocked in two 35 yard field goals and added 6 extra points. On the defensive end, senior captain
Ryan O'Connell recorded 4 tackles and junior
Tanner Langis led the way with 5 tackles. The Jesuits will host Shelton High School tonight at 6pm at Rafferty Stadium in a key CIAC and SCC matchup.
