The Fairfield Prep Jesuit Lacrosse team earned two hard fought victories this week over #5 New Canaan and #7 Cheshire to improve to 5-4 on the season. On Tuesday night in Rafferty Stadium the Jesuit put on a great defensive performance holding New Canaan to 19 shots in a 6-5 victory. The defensive unit was led by senior

Tyler Fox and
Tim Shannehan each scored two goals while
Marco Firmender added two assists.
On Thursday night in Cheshire the Jesuits got out to an early 6-3 lead then found themselves down 11-9 late in the 4th qtr. Three consecutive goals by junior
Luke Lombardo, freshmen
Luke Shannehan and then the game winner by junior
Tyler Fox sealed the victory. Junior
Marco Firmender led all Jesuit players in scoring with five goals and two assists. Lombardo scored a goal and added three assists while
Tyler Fox had three goals.
The Jesuits return to action on Monday May 2nd vs ND - West Haven at 5:00 pm in Rafferty Stadium.
