The Fairfield Prep Lacrosse team advanced to the CIAC Class L Championship game for the 10th time in school history Sunday afternoon at Sacred Heart. The Jesuits fell 13-6 after a hard fought effort. In the semifinals, the Jesuits defeated New Canaan High School 12-7 to advance to the championship. Maddux Little and Marco Firmender led the Jesuits with 4 goals each. Peter Grandolfo added 2 goals and 4 ground balls, Timothy Shanehan added 2 assist's and 1 goal and both Luke Lombardo and Tyler Fox had an assists. Alexander Meier added 3 ground balls and Greg Hilinski added 4 saves in the net. The Jesuits finished the season with a record of 18-4.
