The Fairfield Prep rugby team advanced to the CT Rugby semi-finals with a 59-17 victory over Simsbury Wednesday night at Grauert Field. The Jesuits received two tries from Malachi Mercer and tries from Nic Vittoria, Charles Dooley, Will Gibson, Brice Muller, Lorin Pellegrino, Matthew Samuelson, Wally Wuchiski amd Joseph Altieri. The Jesuits will face off against Staples on June 6th at 5pm and Staples HS as they try to earn a berth in the state finals.
